2019

Ms. Isabella Stringer
Isabella was the sole applicant and recipient of the inaugural MLMNS Scholarship in 2019. She completed two semesters at Eastern Kentucky University, making Dean's List for both. In 2020 she transferred to the ADN-BSN program at Kentucky State University where she is on track to graduate in May 2022. She has worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant in long term care facilities and is currently employed as a dialysis technician.

2020

Ms. Grace Melton
Grace was one of two recipients of the 2020 MLMNS. She is currently enrolled at Sullivan University where she has consistently made the Dean's List each quarter and is on track to graduate with her Associates Degree in Nursing in June 2022. She plans to continue her nursing education online, seeking a Bachelor's of Science in Nursing. Grace is a Certified Nursing Assistant at the Masonic Home in Shelbyville.
